Online nutrition consultations with registered nutritionists

NutriBali connects you with registered nutritionists and dietitians for online consultations about everyday eating. You register first, complete a short pre-assessment, then meet your consultant by chat, voice, or video. The focus is practical: meal planning, food choices, and habits that fit your routine in Bali, Jakarta, or anywhere else you happen to live.

Who you will speak with

Consultants with Indonesian nutrition credentials

Consultants on NutriBali hold Indonesian nutrition credentials: ahli gizi, dietisien, and in some cases the specialist title SpGK. The nutritionist role sits inside Indonesia's regulated nutrition workforce and is tied to formal nutrition education pathways, and it is a distinct track from the dietitian profession in local regulation.

We list each consultant's background on their profile, so you can see who is qualified to give the guidance you are asking for before you book anything.

Pre-assessment

A questionnaire about your week

It covers your usual meals, cooking situation, food preferences, and any allergies you already know about. Your consultant reads it before the session, so the conversation starts from your actual week rather than from a blank page.

Chat, voice, or video — pick what your question needs

Not every question needs a video call. You choose the format when you book, and you can switch between sessions as your questions change. Sessions are scheduled in advance, not handled as an open-ended message thread.

Format Best for Typical use
Chat konsultasi Follow-ups Small plan changes

What a meal plan contains

A working document, not a rulebook

A meal plan from a consultation usually lists meals and rough portions built around food you already eat, plus alternatives for days when the plan does not fit. Your consultant will also note what to do about eating out, family meals, and the dishes that show up at every Balinese or Indonesian table.

If you have a medical condition, the consultant tells you plainly what falls outside nutrition guidance and belongs with your doctor. That boundary is part of every plan we write.

Between sessions

Monitoring dan evaluasi is part of the service

Your consultant checks how the plan is going, what you actually managed to cook, and where it broke down, then adjusts. This is the same structure used in professional nutrition workflows, where assessment, planning, and evaluation sit together.

In practice it looks like a short check-in after a week or two, a revised plan if needed, and a decision about whether another session is useful. Follow-up is part of the service, not an add-on.

Everyday eating

Built for food choices, not for treatment

NutriBali is for people who want help choosing foods and structuring meals. Our consultants give nutrition guidance and daily-habit support, and medical questions go to your doctor or specialist.

That boundary keeps the advice you receive within what a nutrition professional is qualified to provide. It also means we will say no to requests that belong elsewhere.

Food and nutrient interactions

Maybe you want to know how certain foods sit alongside a prescribed medication, or how to combine ingredients so a meal holds you longer. A consultant can explain general nutrition principles and flag where a question needs your prescribing doctor's input. Expect a clear answer plus, where relevant, a note on who else should be asked.

Choosing between ahli gizi and dietisien

In Indonesia the two titles follow different regulatory tracks, and both can give nutrition guidance within their scope. If your question is about everyday meal planning, either may be a good fit. If it involves a clinical condition, a dietitian or a SpGK specialist may be the better match, and we will tell you that at registration rather than book you into the wrong session.

What we do not do

We do not sell supplements, and we do not promise outcomes. No consultant on this platform will tell you a plan is certain to work, because eating habits depend on your week, your budget, and your kitchen. What you get is structured guidance, a plan you can cook from, and someone who reviews how it went.

Life stages and family meals

Consultations cover nutrition across life stages, from infants and children through adults and older family members. A parent in Denpasar cooking one meal for four people has a different planning problem than a student living alone near a campus.

Bring the real constraint: the shared rice cooker, the office lunch, the warung you eat at three times a week. Your consultant builds around that instead of around an ideal kitchen you do not have.

Consultations run online for clients across Indonesia and for Indonesians abroad.

Where we are based

Our team operates from Jl. Imam Bonjol No. 201, Denpasar, Bali. Being Bali-based means we understand the local food context, from market produce to the dishes you eat at ceremonies.

A first step that fits a busy week

Most people start with one question, not a whole plan. That is fine. Register, fill the pre-assessment honestly, and bring the one meal that keeps going wrong.

One session is often enough to get a workable answer and a plan you can follow for the next month. Booking online takes a few minutes.

Questions before you register

Things people ask first

If your question is not here, the full FAQ page covers booking, credentials, and what happens with your details.

Do I need a referral or a diagnosis to register?

No. Registration is open to anyone with an everyday nutrition question. The pre-assessment asks about your meals and preferences, not about medical history you would rather discuss with a doctor.

Can I choose chat instead of a video call?

Yes. Chat konsultasi is available, and it suits follow-ups and small adjustments. For a first consultation we usually recommend voice or video so your consultant can walk through your pre-assessment properly.

Which credential should I look for?

Look for ahli gizi, dietisien, or SpGK where a specialist is relevant. Each consultant profile on this site lists their background so you can check before you book.

What happens to my registration details?

They are used to arrange your consultation and prepare your pre-assessment. Our privacy policy explains what we store and how to ask for a change or deletion.

Register for a consultation

Tell us who you are and what you want to change about everyday eating. Our team reviews your details, proposes consultation slots, and sends the pre-assessment questionnaire.

  • Registration is not a purchase — nothing is charged here.
  • We ask about meals and preferences, not medical history.
  • Your details are used only to arrange the consultation and prepare your pre-assessment.

A consultation is nutrition guidance and daily-habit support. It is not a medical service, and it does not replace advice from your doctor or specialist.
